Glass Art Society Conference
I am thrilled to announce that in May I will be giving a demonstration during the Glass Art Society’s annual conference. My demo will introduce the art of drill engraving through a brief overview of the tools used and the intaglio engraving process. This year's conference will be held in Tacoma, WA from May 18-21, 2022.
Burr Ridge Art Fair

Wave Art Show
My friend Antoinette Rosa and I are co-curating the Wave Art Show as part of the upcoming Wave Film Festival. The Wave Art Show will celebrate the beauty and conservation of the aquatic and marine environments with artwork by 13 artists, representing 5 states.
This one day event will take place at Columbia College Chicago, Film Row Cinema, 1104 S. This Saturday, October 12, 2019, I will be participating in the Ann Arbor Wayzgoose and Printing Festival, which celebrates the art of printing by hand. I will be bringing my vitreographs, which are prints I make using my glass engravings as a printing matrix. The festival will have exhibits, talks, printmaking opportunities and a vendor fair. The printmaking event and vendor fair will take place at the downtown Ann Arbor District Library, 343 S. Fifth Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48104 on Sat. from 12 - 5:30 pm. aadl.org/wayzgoose
Lane Tech Tribe
I am looking forward to showing my stained glass sculpture Pteropod: Limacina helicina and my Pacific Sea Nettles glass engraving at Lane Tech High School during their upcoming Tribe 2019 exhibit. This exhibit will showcase artwork from Lane Tech Alumni and current students. Hyde Park Community Art Fair
I am excited to announce I will be participating in my first outdoor art fair next weekend! I will have a booth at the Hyde Park Community Art Fair in Bixler Park, at 57th Street and Kenwood Ave., Chicago, IL. The fair runs Saturday and Sunday, June 1-2, 2019, rain or shine. Momentum| Hot Glass
I am excited to be showing my hand engraved Octopus Decanter in the upcoming exhibition "Momentum| Hot Glass" from September 13 - 15, 2018, in Toledo, Ohio. This exhibition is in celebration of Libbey, Inc.'s 200th anniversary, and showcases glass drink-ware and artwork that is inspired by functional vessels. The Guild of Glass Engravers, which is based in England, is showing my glass engraving Pacific Sea Nettles as part of their Overseas Members Online Exhibition. South Shore Arts
My Honeybee glass engraving will be exhibited during the 74th Annual Salon Show at South Shore Arts, 1040 Ridge Rd., Munster, Indiana. The exhibit will take place from September 7, 2017 through October 25, 2017, with an opening reception on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 1-3 pm.
Gathering: Contemporary Glass from the Heartland
My glass engraving Pacific Sea Nettles will be on display as part of Indiana Glass Art Alliance's annual juried exhibition "Gathering: Contemporary Glass from the Heartland." I am excited to be exhibiting for the second time in this group exhibition. This year's exhibit will take place at Atrium Gallery, Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. The show runs from Sept. 27, 2016 - Oct. 28, 2016.
Glenwood Ave Arts Fest

Holiday Art Fair
I'll be participating in Lillstreet Art Center's upcoming Holiday Art Fair where I'll be selling some of my newly engraved glass ornaments and votive candle holders. The Fair is this Friday and Saturday, November 21-22, 2014. The Fair will be running from 6-10pm on Friday and 10-4pm on Saturday and will feature 60 local artists. My 3-dimensional stained glass sculpture Pteropod: Limacina helicina will be on display at the Indiana University Kokomo Art Gallery from Oct. 19 - Dec. 7, 2013 as part of "Gathering: Contemporary Glass from the Heartland". If you find yourself in Indiana during those two months, come by and check out all sorts of glass work!
My former marine biology teacher and friend, Michele Hoffman Trotter, is filming a documentary on microorganisms found in the ocean. She interviewed me for the documentary as an artist who finds inspiration in ocean life. My glass sculpture Pteropod: Limacina helicina is featured in the documentary as it is based on a real-life microorganism. The filming started this year so it won't be available for a while, but you can follow the progress of the film and check out a trailer and more information at www.microcosmfilm.com.
In the meantime, come support the film at our fundraiser: Microcosm: An Evening of Art & Inquiry. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at Columbia College of Chicago, 618 S. Michigan Ave., 2nd floor.
