Artwork > Vitreographs

Vitreography is a printmaking technique where prints are hand pulled from a glass matrix. Instead of a traditional matrix of wood, stone or metal, these prints are made using glass which I hand engrave first. The glass is deeply engraved, allowing the vitreograph to pick up the texture and depth of the engraving. The glass engraving is re-inked between each print, resulting in individual prints where no two are alike.
