Portfolio > Vitreographs

Vitreography is a printmaking technique where prints are pulled from a glass plate. Instead of a traditional matrix of wood, stone or metal, these prints are hand pulled using glass plates that I first engrave and then ink. The vitreographs pick up the deeply engraved and textured areas of the glass engraving and emboss them on the corresponding print. The glass plate is re-inked between each print, resulting in a unique, original vitreograph.
